Message	I have a '93 TTZ, which is somewhere around Stage X. Nevertheless, my dad's 540i kills it in terms of handling. I'm not talking about sheer grip around a skidpad - I mean handling. The balance, the steering, the high-speed stability, all kick the Z's ass back to Japan. If you don't know the difference between handling and sheer grip then you'll never appreciate a BMW. I would take a previous or current generation M3 over a Z any day of the week, if they had enough power in a straight line. To get a '95-'99 M3 fast enough to suit me is more $$ than I can afford, which is why I keep the Z. From your comments, I don't think you've spent much time driving BMWs. There is a reason they have their reputation.
